Alex Rodriguez is now being accused of taking steroids in 2003 when he played for the Texas Rangers.  The allegations were just released over the weekend and now the news has spread all over the TV and Internet about this story.

Should Alex Rodriguez return to the New York Yankees in 2009 or should they get rid of him.  With all the things that came out of his book that was released by manager Joe Torre, it's hard to determine whether or not ARod is right for baseball except for the New York Yankees.

Now it appears that most fans of the Yankees want him back and don't care about the steroid allegation as many other players have already gone through the same thing. Why does the news just come out now if he took the steroids in 2003? Other baseball players like Barry Bonds and others have been battling this issue for many years now and it doesn't seem to go away so ARod can definitely have a rough road ahead of him if he stays a New York Yankee or moves onto another team that wants to deal with his issues.

Being one of the highest paid players in baseball Alex Rodriguez has to now face the consequences that lie ahead of him.  He finally spoke out today about this incident and it may have at least cleared the air on getting his side of the story, but may not for many of his fans.
